Q: How long does it take to make a prosthetic?

A: We aim to finish the prosthetic in ONE day, but do strongly suggest a follow up visit 2 weeks later.

 

Q: Do I have to keep coming back for check ups?

A: Yes, we do recommend 6 month check ups for a quick clean and polish.

 

Q: Do I have to remove my prosthetic/shell at night?

​

A: Our prosthetics are able to be worn at ALL times, unless you are experiencing problems or your doctor has

     ordered you to take out.

 

Q: How do I clean my prosthetic eye?

​

A: You can wash it thoroughly with dawn dish soap and water. Make sure to rinse off very well.

Q: What can I use to lubricate my prosthetic?

​

A: Mineral oil

Q: Do you accept Medicaid?

​

A:  No

Q: What insurances are we IN Network with?

A: Health Alliance and Aetna

(We do bill other insurances, but ask the patient to pay at time of service and we will bill the insurance for patient reimbursement)
